Patrik Bruel

Patrick Bruel, whose real name is Maurice Benguigui, was born in 1959 in Tlemcen, Algeria. When he was three years old, his parents divorced and his mother, a French teacher, took him to live in France, Argenteuil, in the Val d'Oise. He spent much of his childhood there before moving to Paris in the 13th arrondissement. His artist talent is famous and Patrick Bruel is best known as a singer and successful actor.

In 2005, he signed a contract with Canal + to comment on the World Poker Tour, alongside Denis Balbir. The duo managed to set the mood on the small screen, not only with their comments as experts of the game, but also with their great repartee. Thus, the issue drew the attention of many viewers and reinforced Patrick Bruel's reputation.

Motivated by his love for the game, with Michel Abecassis, they made a DVD in 2006 entitled 'Poker Coach' designed for novice poker.
